Why use Sun Protection Fabrics?

Most modern home designs make use of natural light. Designers are trained to search for ways to allow as much natural light into the house as possible. You also want the calming scene of your lush garden always visible. However, with light comes heat which raises air-conditioning costs and UV rays which are harmful to us. In Botswana, the UV index is extreme - you know this because you cannot sit in direct sunlight here for more than a few minutes without getting extremely uncomfortable.
